Grassland and Birch Grove Garden

This garden defies, yet doesn’t deny, northwest tradition; it successfully grows southern hemisphere plants as well as natives.

Garden of Surprises

This gardener wanted to accentuate his garden art collection nestled among evergreens. What one never expects on a garden tour is a 1957 Chevy...

Home for a Tortoise to Roam

Welcome to Mr. T’s residence—he awaits you in the back

Chez Hugh the Yew

The garden is designed for both low maintenance and year round interest with “90% of the plants bought for their foliage.”

Dacha in the Bamboo

Many moons will pass before you forget this place of wonder.

This couple had love in their hearts while designing and developing their wedding site, and they hope the aura of romance lingers still.

Accessibility Note

* As a note to our Garden Tour Visitors, we would like to let you know that the Hiker’s Garden (Garden E), does not have disabled access and presents a challenging climb on foot as you meander up to and throughout the garden.

The Rockery Garden (Garden F), has a steep driveway to climb in order to enter the actual garden space.

Three of our most spectacular gardens (Gardens D, E, & F) are conveniently located next to one another in the Orchard Street Ravine. We recommend that you begin to look for parking about a block or so before you reach garden's D-F as we expect these to be very popular!

If you have any questions about access, please call Clay Swidler at (206)669-4653.
